From July 12 to 15 in 2015, Auto China was held at China National Convention Center, and many auto giants including Benz, Volvo, Lamborghini, Infiniti, Lincoln and DS attended the show. Hawtai, a Chinese SUV producer, made a stunning appearance with its New Santa Fe EV and Lusheng E70EV. Not even paled by luxury cars, Hawtai products attracted a lot of attention. New Santa Fe EV is China's first pure-electric SUV. With sophisticated functions and outstanding design, it marks the pinnacle of urban SUV, and reaffirms the leadership of Hawtai in the segment. Lusheng E70EV also won unanimous recognition among visitors for its mature technology and broad prospect.

Despite the boom of new energy resources in China, pure-electric SUV is rarely seen due to its high technological barrier. New Santa Fe EV lifted the mysterious veil of pure-electric SUV, and has vital significance to the market crazing for SUV.

As everyone knows that SUV (Sport Utility Vehicle) has long been criticized for its high fuel consumption, new energy models will provide a broad platform for its future development. New Santa Fe EV which comes with permanent magnet synchronous motor outperforms domestic peers in energy conversion, with an acceleration of only 7 seconds from 0-100km/h, and with a good mileage of 300km. It can get fully charged in four hours with the household 220Vpower supply and in 20 minutes with a professional charger.

With these advantages, New Santa Fe avoids to some extent many weaknesses of pure-electric vehicles. Its super-high cost performance means that pure-electric SUV is no longer a privilege of the rich, and instead will be made available to more consumers. New Santa Fe EV also received much attention at the show. Many consumers gave their thumbs up when knowing about its good mileage and charging speed, and asked about the final release date. New Santa Fe EV has become a trendsetter in domestic wave of SUV consumption.

Together with New Santa Fe EV, Hawtai also introduced another masterpiece -- Lusheng E70EV. While maintaining original appearance of E70, Lusheng E70EV is developed according to the standards of A-class electric vehicles, and excels other models in its class. It offers 90 kW maximum power, 250 Nm maximum torque, and a top revolving speed at maximum 10000 rpm. It attains a maximum speed of more than 150km/h, and a mileage more than 300km. Lusheng E70EV can get fully charged with 220V household power system in four hours.

Given outstanding performance of these two models at the show, and frequent moves of Hawtai in new energy, it is believed that Hawtai, a seasoned SUV producer for 15 years, is making major strategic layout in this respect. As more and more pure electric models with higher cost performance are launched, the general public can enjoy more clean power vehicles.
