Hawtai Amazes Moscow Motor Show with Three SUVs

News.cri.cn -- The Moscow International Motor Show 2014, Russia's biggest gala for cars, met global audiences on August 27. Hawtai Motor had its debut on the show with its mid- and high-end Boliger, sporty urban New Santa Fe, and intermediate sedan Lusheng E70. Local media, fellow exhibitors, and audiences were attracted by this Chinese brand. The show marks the start of Hawtai's all-out attack on the Russian market.

Special Version Boliger Designed for Russian Consumers

Hawtai, a veteran SUV maker for 14 years, started to access the Russian market in 2012. It quickly completed early-stage preparation, including market survey, channel construction, brand building, and local strategy planning. Boliger Zhihui model on display is specially tuned to meet Russian consumers' love for "large space".

Borrowing from European Baroque for a noble, elegant exterior, Boliger is a great choice for business purposes. Dimensioned 4,618*1,858*1,753mm, it is way bigger than its peers. A 2,620mm wheelbase gives sufficient room inside, meeting all needs from socializing to business negotiation, and to touring and leisure. A Kavachi 1.8T gasoline engine is equipped to cope with complex driving conditions in Russia. The engine features a maximum torque of 215 Nm and maximum power of 118 kW, more powerful than the normal 2.4L gasoline one. Specially-tuned chassis can withstand varying road conditions in Russia. It can filter well vibration in passing holes of all sizes, and makes it comfortable for both driver and passengers. Boliger is also upgraded to fit the diverse climates with large temperature difference locally. Automatic bi-zone air conditioners can maintain a cozy interior all year long, whether it is 1 to -37 ℃ in January or 11℃ to27℃ in July. Power leather seats, heating for driver seat and copilot seat, DVD entertainment system, rear camera, multi-function steer wheel, superlarge electric sunroof, adjustable headrest for rear seats...All these luxury features make it super comfortable in the SUV, and enable a convenient car life for consumers. Spacious body can meet different needs of consumers. In normal situation, the trunk has a volume of 690L, and the number goes to 2,100L after folding the rear row. Small storage spaces everywhere inside provide a place for all.

Russia lags behind other countries in automobile manufacturing, and needs to import many products. As America, EU and Japan enhance their sanctions on the country, export to Russia faces more restrictions. Correspondingly, the Russian automobile market must turn to emerging countries for importing these products. Identifying the opportunity, Hawtai quickly introduced Boliger Zhihui model to Russia for production and marketing. Following the spearhead, more Boliger models will land on Russia in the future.

 

Hawtai has its Strong Debut with Star Products 

Russia was the first to embrace "the Auto Era", and car consumption has been popular for long. However, due to slow economic growth and limited consumption ability, the Russian consumers are sensitive to car prices. Hawtai also brought cost-effective New Santa Fe and Lusheng E70 to the show.

Borrowing from luxury brands like Jaguar and Bentley, the E70 features large metal mesh-style grille that distinguish it from others. Raised deflectors add to the overall line beauty. Being a super sedan for family travel, E70 stands out for its German body, powertrain and chassis technologies that make life better. It also offers driver-friendly functions like push-to-start, keyless entry, rear camera, headlamp delay, and 6-way power driver seat and automatic bi-zone air conditioners. During the CICA this year, presidents of China and Russia met and jointly announced the China-Russia Joint Statement on New Stage of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, which indicates acceleration of cooperation in many fields.
