In 2008, Hawtai Motor planned its operations in the new energy vehicle industry, initiated the R&D of and investment in the core technologies of batteries, motors and electric control, and gained the lead in the industry. Hawtai has mastered the core technologies of vehicle control system, power battery system, vehicle integration and vehicle lightweight, as well as the corresponding capabilities of test and validation, and owned the independent intellectual property of electric vehicles and authorized patents for invention. In 2015, Hawtai launched two 4.8m+ segment B electric car (Lusheng E70EV and Lusheng E90EV) and China's first electric SUV (New Santa Fe EV). These new energy vehicles enjoy prominent competitive advantage in cost performance, driving mileage and charging efficiency. With a maximum speed of 150km/h and a driving mileage of 300 to 350km, Hawtai electric vehicles can be fully charged in 20 minutes (fast) and four hours (slow) with family common voltage (220V) and public charging piles (stations). As urban taxicabs, Hawtai electric vehicles have gone into demonstrative operation in Tianjin.

Hawtai Motor is preparing to establish a manufacturing base for three core components of new energy vehicles, and plans to invest 10 billion yuan in developing the capability of manufacturing 200,000 electric vehicles and three core components.

EVE, an outstanding Chinese lithium-thionyl battery supplier ranked fifth in the world, has independent intellectual property and internationally advanced technologies, and is committed to becoming a world leading enterprise in the new lithium energy field. Since its establishment in 2001, EVE has been China's largest and the world's fifth-largest high-energy primary lithium battery supplier, as well as a leading new lithium-ion energy enterprise with independent intellectual property and internationally advanced technologies. Through 10 years of rapid development, EVE has become a Chinese leading lithium battery manufacturer. EVE was listed on ChiNext in Shenzhen in October 2009 as one of the first 28 ChiNext-listed enterprises.

China's new energy vehicle power battery industry and new energy vehicle industry are on the whirlwinds of policies, products, market and capital, the growth of the output of new energy vehicle power batteries is far from meeting the need for the fast development of new energy vehicles, and the new energy vehicle power cell market still has huge potential.

Hawtai Motor is leaping in the new energy vehicle industry. From the perspective of industry, Hawtai-EVE cooperation will become a "favorite" in the new energy vehicle industry.
