In the background of fierce domestic competition and slow growth, going global actively and expanding import and export has become a must for domestic brands to make a breakthrough. Cherry, Great Wall Motor,Geely, etc. are speeding up to tap into overseas markets, so is Hawtai. While building two major bases in Russia and Angola, Hawtai recently has received two big orders consecutively from African Madagascar for 200 units. This shows Hawtai has made another substantial step to go global.
However, this does not mean every company is able to use international strategy as a breakthrough point. So what are the grounds for Hawtai to make presence in overseas market?

Overseas distribution channels covering 17 countries
2013 Hawtai’s international business flourishes. By 2013 Q3, international network distribution channels have covered 17 countries.
Currently, we have developed distribution network in Algeria、Angola、Nigeria、Ghana、Libya of Africa.
We have signed contracts with a dozen of distributors in Middle East.
Besides CKD base of 50,000 units capacity in Russia, an overseas auto engineering research design center is established in Munich of Germany.

In February,2013, Hawtai Bagdad 4S flagship store with an area of 4000 square meters was officially opened, which is the largest and most advanced one in Bagdad by now. This store is one of the three big giants for Hawtai in Middle East.
Bagdad 4S store include spacious reception hall, comfortable lounge and leisure zone, modern maintenance shop and sufficient parts & components. Modern and standard management system has been set up to ensure the convenience of every customer.
With expanding market share of Iraq, after-sales service system is improving. Hawtai Chinese technicians inspect and maintain the sold automobiles personally and provide technical guidance to local staff. Their good technics and earnest attitude have won high praise from customers.

Since 2011, Hawtai actively explore overseas market in Middle East, South America, Africa, South Asia and West Asia, laying a solid foundation for diesel engine and diesel automobiles.
Hawtai has set up two major production bases in Angola and Russia, two global operational centers in Africa and Europe for production and sales.

By the end of this year, Angola SKD facility will realize SOP with annual capacity of 50,000 units.
Overseas Order Pouring
On Sep, 2013, 200 Santafe (4-drive diesel engine) have been ordered by Madagascar as local official service vehicle.
This SUV is the star product, famous for its power, environment-friendliness, adaptation for bumpy road of Madagascar, and especially for its OED2.0L green diesel engine which is awarded in 2013 “Engine of the Year” by China Auto News and CICEIA.
